About the Role
- Perform fabrication, assembly, and repair of structural and mechanical components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Conduct welding, cutting, and shaping of metal materials to meet project requirements.
- Carry out inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with operational guidelines.
- Report and document any defects, issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
Boilermaker Trade Certification
Working at Heights Qualification, current within the last 2 years
Confined Space & Gas Test Qualification, current within the last 2 years
Construction Induction White Card
Current Manual Driver’s License
Current Medipass, advantageous
Current Queensland Alumina Limited and/or Rio Tinto Yarwun Site Inductions, advantageous.
Current Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) qualifications, advantageous
